If you’re using AI to generate content, chat with customers, or make decisions that affect them, transparency is increasingly expected — and in some jurisdictions, legally required. This doesn’t mean every email needs a disclaimer, but it does mean being honest when directly asked.

Building an Ethical AI Policy
Every business using AI should have a simple internal policy that covers: which tools are approved, what data can be shared with them, disclosure requirements when interacting with customers, and review processes for AI-generated outputs.
The businesses that earn long-term customer trust will be those that use AI to serve their customers better — not those that use it to deceive or exploit them.
